The FPC Kenya comprises of producers, traders and service providers for Kenya’s fresh horticultural produce. We represents the interests of member companies (including family-owned, private and publicly traded businesses as well as local and regional companies) throughout the fresh produce supply chain.
FPC Kenya influences and advocates for a conducive national and international business environment, Policies, tariffs and trade agreements on behalf of its members.
FPC Kenya offer market Access & Linkage services to smallholder farmers in the horticultural sector.
We represent our members on policies that directly affects the flow of goods and services between countries, including import tariffs and import quotas.
Fruits and vegetable export
Equipped with necessary certifications and licenses, FPC Kenya is involved in creation of bulk. We carry out basic and advanced quality assurance practices locally on behalf of local and international clients, we organize and plan for transport and other logistical aspects to ensure the products’ mobility from farm to the retail store shelves of both local and international clients.
The horticultural crops of interests include fruits (avocado, passion and mangoes) and vegetables (French beans, snow peas, chilies, baby corns, broccoli and herbs). And with expansion of market in Europe and in China, our role as export agents can only be better. We are the quality experts.

Regular updates on the outcomes of issues are sent to members via News letters and posted in the members’ area portal. They include the latest on Brexit, pesticide and plant health regulation and enforcement, customs clearance, tariffs, quotas and schedules, RASFF notifications, UK and EU plant health interceptions, food safety, sustainability, waste, workforce and ethical issues.
There are many opportunities for members to meet and network throughout the year. FPC Kenya encourage discussion and information sharing between members. There are awards for organisations who trade in or with the us and who demonstrate superb performance in innovation, creativity, CSR, consistency of service and quality, sustainability, good practice, employee welfare, cost control and improved turnover. Stake holders meetings
Our Technical Meetings run throughout the year where we discuss a wide range of technical issues affecting all sectors of the industry. There are regular contributions from regulatory bodies, so delegates keep up to date with regulatory developments and food safety issues.
The meetings also cover topics such as mental health in the workplace, supporting your workers, industry response to the immigration white paper, salary and benefits survey. We invite industry contributors to present on important subjects.
